AC Milan Begin Europa League Campaign with a Comeback Win

Late Goal Secures Three Points for Italian Giants

Pulisic Nets Winner as Milan Edge Slavia Prague 4-2

AC Milan made a winning start to their Europa League campaign with a thrilling 4-2 victory over Slavia Prague at the San Siro on Thursday night. The Italian giants found themselves trailing 2-1 at the break but roared back in the second half to secure all three points.

Christian Pulisic proved to be the hero for Milan, scoring the winning goal in the 89th minute. The American winger pounced on a loose ball in the Slavia Prague box and fired a low shot into the bottom corner. It was Pulisic's first goal for Milan since joining the club from Chelsea in the summer.

Rafael Leão had earlier equalized for Milan after Slavia Prague had taken a shock lead through Matej Jurásek. Leão's goal came in the 57th minute, and it set the stage for Pulisic's late heroics.

The win moves Milan top of Group H, with two wins from their opening two games. Slavia Prague, meanwhile, drop to third place with one win and one defeat.

Milan will be looking to continue their strong start to the Europa League when they travel to face Celtic in their next match. Slavia Prague, meanwhile, will be hoping to bounce back when they host Sparta Prague in their next match.
