Bayer Leverkusen Youth Teams Shine on International Stage

Alajbegovic's Brace Leads Germany U17s

Numerous Bayer 04 Leverkusen youth players have made their mark during the final international break.

Among the standout performers was Deni Alajbegovic, who scored a brace for Germany's U17 team in their qualifying match against Serbia. The young goalkeeper's goals helped Germany secure a 2-1 victory and a spot in the UEFA European Under-17 Championship finals.

Other Bayer 04 players also had impressive performances with their respective national teams. Tim Latteier made his debut for Germany's U16s, while Noah Pooth and Elias Ghisalberti represented Switzerland's U15 and U14 teams, respectively.

In youth club competitions, Bayer 04's U19s advanced to the quarter-finals of the DFB-Pokal after defeating MSV Duisburg 3-1. The U17s also progressed in their respective cup competition, beating FC Viktoria Köln 2-0 in the round of 16.
