Early Life and Career

Ermal Meta was born on April 20, 1981, in Fier, Albania. He moved to Italy with his family at a young age and began his music career in 2006 as a member of the band Ameba4. In 2010, he embarked on a solo career and released his debut album, "Umano".

Rise to Fame

Meta gained national recognition in Italy in 2016 after winning the Sanremo Music Festival with the song "Non mi avete fatto niente". The song became a commercial success, topping the Italian singles chart and selling over 100,000 copies.
